2020 has been a year of firsts, to put it lightly.
The CAO Board has been working and meeting virtually since March, discussing the best courses of action for the organization in response to COVID-19 and future planning. With 2020 being a year of unusual events, the CAO had to shift gears as the global environment unfolded. Sadly, the decision was made to cancel the Kelowna Scientific Session (we will now visit Kelowna in 2024!), as well as the arrangement of the first Virtual AGM for the CAO.
The Board is also preparing for the first ever Virtual September Board Meeting, taking place this coming weekend. There is no doubt that after two days of meetings, the Board will have more to report on in the next Bulletin. It is exciting times for the CAO Board as we prepare to launch the new committee structure and other important initiatives for the entire orthodontic profession.
